Common Questions About the Workflow

Most users are fully set up within 10–15 minutes. Adding a property and syncing an iCal calendar takes about 2 minutes. Inviting a cleaner takes another 2 minutes. After that, the system runs automatically.

CleanCalendar syncs your calendars in real time. If a booking is cancelled, the system detects the change and cancels or updates the associated cleaning request automatically. Your cleaner is notified immediately.

Yes. You can create manual cleaning requests at any time from your dashboard — for deep cleans, maintenance visits, or any other reason. The same notification system applies.

Cleaners can also receive their job notifications and confirmations via email. The mobile app is recommended for the best experience, but it is not strictly required.

The Individual Plan supports up to 10 own properties. The Pro Plan supports unlimited properties. The Enterprise Plan is designed for large agencies with custom requirements.

When you add a cleaner to your team, you can designate them as an Employee or a Freelancer. Employees automatically accept any job assigned to them. Freelancers receive an Accept or Decline prompt on their job card and must respond manually — you are notified by email of their response. Jobs awaiting a freelancer\'s response appear in an amber “Pending Cleaner” status on the web admin dashboard.

Yes. Cleaners have a dedicated “My Availability” screen in the mobile app where they can set their default weekly working hours or configure specific hours for any given week. This gives you an accurate picture of who is available before you assign jobs.

Yes. You can add multiple units (apartments, guest houses, rooms) to a single property. When creating a job, you can assign it to a specific unit. Cleaners see the unit name, bedroom and bathroom count, and check-in/out times on their job card in the app.
